Plastic Free India Campaign

On World Environment Day (2018), the Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan announced that Single-use plastics will be phased out by 2022. On the Occasion of 150 th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi & NSS Golden Jubilee year, Poddar International College organized a campaign titled “Plastic Free India”. The campaign was started by designing a cloth bag and distributing them at several public places free of cost to aware people that plastic bags should not be used as they harm the environment and our Earth.
