Since 2012, 11 October has been marked as the International Day of the Girl declared by the United Nations. This day highlights and addresses the need and challenges faced by a girl and promotes girl empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.
International Girl Child Day was celebrated at Poddar International College on 11 October 2019. This event started with the – Poster and Collage making competition. Students participated with full enthusiasm and made posters by giving a message on “Save Girl Child”. Our Chairman Sir and Director Ma’am appreciated the students for the same and awarded the winners with medals and certificates.
