NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
26-27 FEBRUARY 2018 The conference was conducted for a duration of two days and intended to provide a common platform for scientific interaction between researchers and academicians on the modern trends of conservation strategies. The participants focused on research problems in new areas of life sciences including general environmental issues, green economy, environment, and natural resources, ecological sustainability biodiversity conservation, and green chemistry.
Souvenir of the conference was launched by all the dignitaries. Keynote speaker Prof. Ashok Kumar, Chatrapati Shivaji University Kanpur delivered his talk on “Fight against cancer” commenced with an Inaugural speech of Dr. Sandeep Verma, Principal Secretary DST he acquainted the audience with advance research in genomics.Dr. Parul Gupta, DST New Delhi highlighted the various projects and stated that the project must focus on real issues.
Approximately 90 delegates from all over India attended the conference. One keynote lecture and 11 invited lectures by eminent scientists were delivered during the two-day event. A total of 12 oral presentations and 15 poster presentations were held by young scientists and students in the different technical sessions.
