The Department of Computer Applications of Poddar Group of Institutions in celebration of its 28 Years of Excellence organized a workshop on Cybersecurity on 13 February 2026 for the students of the department. The session was conducted by Mr. Niranjan Dadhich, Security Consultant and Founder, Threat Expert Cyber Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Radhika Agarwal, Security Analyst.
The workshop began with a welcome address followed by an introduction to cybersecurity fundamentals. The experts discussed key concepts such as cyber threats, website vulnerabilities, and security best practices. An interactive quiz session was conducted to assess students’ awareness and understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
The session also included a practical hands-on workshop where students learned how to identify and address vulnerabilities in websites. Through live demonstrations and guided exercises, participants gained real-world exposure to security assessment techniques and preventive measures. The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion and a group photograph, making it an engaging and informative learning experience for all attendees.
