The Arts Department of Poddar International College organized a visit to Saras Dairy Plant on 7th August 2025.
The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical insights into dairy production, promote awareness about the dairy industry, and highlight the importance of sustainable agricultural practices.
During the visit, students were given a detailed tour of the plant's various operations including milk processing, packaging, and quality control. Over 25 students and faculty members actively participated in the visit. Mr. Jitendra Singh and Mr. Vipin coordinated the event. Students also learned about modern dairy technologies, hygiene standards, and the significance of dairy in nutrition and the economy.
This visit helped students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world practices, technological advancements, and community health benefits
Through this initiative, the Arts Department aims to encourage experiential learning, environmental responsibility, and active student engagement with industry practices.
