The Department of Commerce and Management, in association with the Poddarpreneurs Club, organized a classroom case study activity titled “A Dream at Risk – An Entrepreneurial Journey” for BBA II Year students at Poddar International College. The activity was conducted under the guidance of faculty member Mr. Abhishek Agarwal as part of the subject Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management.
Through group discussions and critical analysis, students explored real-world entrepreneurial challenges, including delayed payments, employee dissatisfaction, business expansion decisions, and the dilemma of retaining ownership while seeking external support.
The activity encouraged students to think like entrepreneurs, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions while strengthening their understanding of:
🔹 Strategic decision-making and calculated risk-taking
🔹 Financial discipline and resource management
🔹 Leadership, adaptability, and resilience
🔹 Self-belief and perseverance in challenging situations
By connecting classroom learning with real-world business scenarios, the activity fostered critical thinking and highlighted that successful entrepreneurship requires more than an innovative idea—it demands resilience, financial discipline, adaptability, and informed decision-making.
At Poddar International College, we believe in nurturing future entrepreneurs through experiential learning, practical exposure, and opportunities that transform knowledge into action.
