Swachhata Seva Abhiyan 2026

The NSS Club of Poddar International College, Jaipur, organised Swachhata Seva Abhiyan 2026 in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of NSS, Rajasthan, under the Swachhata Action Plan, 2026. The programme aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, social responsibility, and active community participation among students.
The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. S. P. Bhatnagar, Regional Director, NSS, Rajasthan, who was invited as the guest of honor. The event commenced with a graceful Ganesh Vandana, marking an auspicious beginning to the programme.

Following the inaugural ceremony, Dr. S. P. Bhatnagar addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of cleanliness, environmental conservation, civic responsibility, and the role of youth in creating a cleaner and healthier society. Poddar International College Principal Prof. Praveen Goswami gave token of thanks to our guest of honour S.P. Bhatnagar sir and encouraged students to actively contribute towards cleanliness and community welfare.

The students expressed there views on swachata by speech, poetry, dance and an engaging skit on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, conveying the message of cleanliness, responsible citizenship, and the need for collective efforts to maintain a clean environment. The performances effectively communicated the importance of adopting cleanliness as a part of everyday life. 

The programme ended with the NSS  motto song

स्वयं उठे वसुंधरा संवार दे
 
Following the performances, the NSS volunteers, along with faculty members, participated in a plantation drive . Vice Chairperson of Poddar group of Institute Mrs. Roopal Poddar mam address to the students about environmental responsibility and encouraged students to take practical steps towards creating greener and healthier surroundings.
The programme concluded with an enthusiastic Swachhata Awareness Rally, in which NSS volunteers and students participated actively. Through the rally, awareness messages related to cleanliness, hygiene, environmental protection, and responsible citizenship were shared with the community.

The programme was successfully conducted with the active participation of the NSS program officers, NSS volunteers, students, and faculty members. The various activities provided an opportunity for students to move beyond classroom learning and actively contribute to social and environmental welfare. The event concluded with a renewed commitment towards cleanliness, sustainability, and responsible citizenship.
