The NSS Club in association with the Department of Arts organized a session on Stress Management and Mental Well-being at Poddar International College, Jaipur. The programme was conducted under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Shilpika Tewari . Dr. Tewari informed the students that this session was one of the programmes organized as part of the 28 years celebration of the Poddar Group of Institutions .
The session was addressed by Mr. Vipin Bijarnia and Ms. Ishita as the resource persons . They spoke about the increasing levels of stress among students due to academic pressure, career concerns, social expectations, and excessive use of digital devices. The speakers explained how unmanaged stress can affect both mental and physical health , leading to anxiety, lack of concentration, and emotional imbalance.
They shared practical techniques for stress management, such as maintaining a balanced routine, regular physical activity, proper sleep, meditation, and positive thinking. The speakers also emphasized the importance of time management, setting realistic goals, and seeking support from friends, family, or mentors when feeling overwhelmed.
The session was interactive and informative, encouraging students to adopt healthy habits and focus on their overall well-being. It helped create awareness about the importance of mental health and provided useful strategies to handle daily stress in a positive manner.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to the speakers and organizers for conducting such an insightful session.
