The Department of Arts at Poddar International College organised an engaging Story Writing Activity for the students of B.A. Semester I. The activity was conducted by Dr. Arti Sharma, Assistant Professor, English with the objective of fostering creativity, communication, and teamwork among the newly admitted students.
The session began with each student contributing a word on the board. Based on these words, the class was divided into five teams, and each team was challenged to create a meaningful and imaginative story incorporating the given words. The teams enthusiastically collaborated, shared ideas, and presented their stories before the class, showcasing their creativity and confidence.
The activity provided an enjoyable platform for students to express their imagination while strengthening their communication and presentation skills. In addition, Dr. Shilpika Tiwari, Coordinator Department of Arts also encouraged students in collaborative learning, as they worked together to develop coherent and engaging narratives.
The Story Writing Activity proved to be both educational and entertaining. It enhanced the students’ vocabulary, creative thinking, and writing abilities while promoting teamwork and active participation. The activity concluded on a creative note, encouraging students to explore their potential and actively engage in interactive learning experiences throughout their academic journey.
