The Department of Commerce and Management organized an Orientation Programme for BBA / B.Com Semester II students with the objective of motivating learners and preparing them for the academic journey ahead. The programme was conducted in a warm and enthusiastic environment, setting a positive tone for the new semester.
The session began with a cordial welcome of the dignitaries—Principal Sir, Dr. Praveen Goswami, Dean Academics, Dr. Sunil Kakkar, and Training and Placement Cell, Ms. Anuradha Ghosh—by the Coordinator of the Department of Commerce and Management, Dr. Reena Amberiya She highlighted the importance of orientation programmes in shaping students’ academic outlook and overall personality development.
Following the welcome, Dr. Sunil Kakkar conducted an insightful and highly engaging session. His talk was interactive, activity-based, and thought-provoking, encouraging students to participate actively. Through real-life examples and experiential activities, he inspired students to develop a positive mindset, effective communication skills, and a goal-oriented approach toward their studies and future careers.
Subsequently, Ms. Anuradha Ghosh took the stage and conducted an energetic session on Management Games. Her session was extremely interesting and engaging, involving students in team-based activities that emphasized leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. The students participated with great enthusiasm, making the session lively and impactful.
