Open Mic 2025

The Poddar Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the Federation of Unicorn Innovative Startups Industry (FUISI), successfully organized a much-anticipated Open Mic Event for young performers aged 15 to 20 years at Poddar International College, Mansarovar.

The event served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creative talents across multiple artistic categories, including singing, dance, band performances, and monologues. A total cash prize pool of approximately ₹10,000 added to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from several reputed schools and colleges. Participating schools included Suresh Gyan Vihar School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVVB) Vidyashram, SRN International School, Vardhman International School, Cambridge Court School, Springfield School, among others. College participants represented prestigious institutions such as Amity University, Poornima University, Jagannath University, Maharaja College, Commerce College, and Mahatma Gandhi University.

A total of 40 students registered across solo, duet, and group categories, delivering energetic and impressive performances that captivated the audience.The first position was secured by Nivedita Zibbu from Springfield School for her outstanding solo singing performance, earning a cash prize of ₹3,100. The second position was awarded to Pearl Khandelwal, who received ₹2,100.The third position was jointly awarded to a duet dance performance by Shivang Jadon and Vasudev Verma from Suresh Gyan Vihar School, and a band performance by Gourang, Aayan, and Parin from Vardhman International School. Each third-place winner received a cash prize of ₹1,100.

In addition, four appreciation awards were presented to encourage and recognize emerging talent. The recipients included Vikash Tiwari for solo singing, Harshita Kumawat for solo dance, Gravit Sharma for singing, and Mantavya for an impactful monologue performance.

The event successfully highlighted the creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm of young performers. Organizers from FUISI and the Poddar Group of Institutions expressed their satisfaction with the overwhelming participation and reaffirmed their commitment to organizing similar youth-centric cultural events in the future.
