NSS cell of Poddar International College organised a special session on *Meditation and Rakshabandhan* in collaboration with the *Brahma Kumaris spiritual organization* on 26th July 2025.
The event aimed to promote inner peace, spiritual awareness, and the essence of universal brotherhood. The session began with a guided meditation conducted by Jayanti didi and their team, where faculties were introduced to the techniques of calming the mind and connecting with the inner self. This was followed by an insightful talk on the power of positive thinking, emotional balance, and the significance of self-transformation in daily life.
The *Rakshabandhan celebration* was held with a spiritual touch, where the Brahma Kumaris sisters tied rakhi to participants, symbolizing divine protection, purity, and the eternal bond between the soul and the Supreme. Faculties were deeply moved by the meaningful message shared during the event, which emphasized values of peace, love, and respect beyond mere rituals. The session concluded with the distribution of , sweets and Good message card.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of faculty and staff. Chairman of Poddar Group of Institutes Dr. Anand Poddar sir appreciated the session for its thoughtful and serene atmosphere. Overall, the Brahma Kumaris session provided a refreshing spiritual experience and reminded everyone of the deeper significance of both meditation and the festival of Rakshabandhan.
