General Rules:

1.   The  participants  are  requested to submit their entries latest by January 31, 2023, by filling registration form via registration link available or by hard copy filled and duly signed by the head of the institute/ Co-coordinator.

2.   The team of each institute would select a team leader, whose name should be intimated along with a confirmation letter.

3.   The host institute reserves the right to make any changes in the schedule that it seems fit.

4.   Participants must carry their Identity Card on the day of their competition, failing which they won’t be allowed to participate

5.   The decision of judges will be final and binding for all the events.

6.   Students are required to bring all essential materials with them.

Retail Hub

An event to showcase your creative skills where a participant team needs to establish a retail stall/outlet of any company and its products/services.

Registration fee:  Rs 100/- per team

❖ Four teams per college will be allowed to participate. Each team must have 2-6 members.

❖ Time limit to establish a stall will be 2 hours.

❖ Stall can be designed in rural as well as urban themes.

❖ Participants are open to sell the products also.

❖ One Stall/Outlet is allowed per team to establish.

❖ Host college will provide a stall space of 6 feet by 6 feet to each team, with an equal number of chairs and tables only to design the stall/outlet.

❖ Teams are suggested to bring their own material to design the respective stall and to decorate their stall as per the need

❖ Teams  are  also  directed  to  arrange  the  products  and  other  essentials  to  design  the respective stall.

 

Croquis Design – Fashion Illustration

An event where the participants will require designing the croquis (drawn on A3 size sheet) provided by the host institute.

❖ There is no limit for the number of participants from a college/institution.

❖ Students are required to bring their own materials.The time limit will be 1 hour.

❖ The participants will be judged on the basis of Creativity, Originality and Presentation..

 

Nukkad Natak

❖ Participants are expected to convey a message for society.

❖ 5-15 members per team are allowed.

❖ The time limit to perform is 6–12 minutes.

❖  Props are allowed to be used.

❖ Subject   and   script   should   be   decent   enough,  and   any   vulgarity   will   lead   to disqualification.

Sci-Inventia

An event to bring out revolutionary ideas among students by creating a new product like an edible cutlery or a working model/ non-working model like solar cooker, thus giving an opportunity to put their scientific knowledge and skills to the test.

❖ The product and model can be prepared beforehand and you only need to display and explain the product/model on the spot.

❖ The product or model should be novel

❖ Judgment Criteria will be Originality, Creativity, Problem Addressed and Effectiveness in communicating the intended message.

 

Cash from Trash

Event Coordinator: Dr. Shiva Sharma (87697-68970) and Ms. Khushbu (89478-91758)

❖ The participant will be required to create items from trash, which can easily be cashed or sold out.

❖ Team limit 1- 3 members.

❖ 3 teams from a college/institution can participate.

❖ The participant has to bring the trash material needed in developing & decorating the product.

❖ The Time limit will be half an hour.

❖ The participants will be judged on the basis of Creativity, Originality and Presentation.

❖ The organizers have all the rights of making final decision for any matter during the event

 

Solo Singing

Event Coordinator: Dr. Sunil Kakkar (97729-97729) and Ms. Shilpi Damor (97841-97387)

Registration fee:  Rs 100/-

❖ The event will be conducted only in one round. The second round will be conducted if the judges feel the need.

❖ The candidates will be given 2-3 minutes (first round) and 3-4 minutes (second round, if required).

❖ The participants will be provided the musical band / Karaoke support.

❖ Participants will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing.

❖ Judgment will be based on the song selection, voice quality, clarity, rhythm, and appeal to the audience.

❖ Participants may bring their own musical instruments if required in the performance.

❖ Choice of the song is open to the participants but the song should NOT have any slang or derogatory language.

 

Master Chef

Event Coordinator: Dr. Sunil Kakkar (97729-97729)

❖ Maximum 4 Teams can participate from a single college/institution.

❖ Maximum participants per team are 1-4.

❖ Only 1 hour will be allotted to prepare your choice of cuisine.

❖ Food on Fire and Food without Fire will be the choice of the participants. Although, teams are required to inform the same well in advance for necessary arrangements.

❖ Cuisine category will be the choice of the participant in any of the categories mentioned like Starter, Main Course and Dessert.

❖ Only Vegetarian cuisine will be part of the event.

❖ Participants should carry all their own utensils and the required ingredients to prepare their own choice of cuisine. Organizers will only provide ‘Gas Stove’ for Food on Fire with necessary items.

❖ No Prior Preparation of any type will be allowed in any case.

❖ Results will be based on the presentation of the cuisine apart from all other essentials.

Wall Painting

❖ Participants can paint their own imagination as there is no restriction on theme.

❖ Participants should bring the required materials with them.

❖ The time limit will be one and half hours.

❖ Per team 2 members.

❖ Judgment will be based on Theme, Color Combination, and Overall outlook.

 

War of Bands

Event Coordinator: Dr. Ruchir Saxena (98285-62769) and Mr. Shashikant (90247-80615)

❖ The team shall consist of up to 12 participants.

❖ The group can consist of all boys or all girls or combined.

❖ The duration of the performance will be a minimum for 5 and a maximum for 10 minutes which does not include setting time which shall not be more than 5 minutes.

❖ One professional accompanist is allowed who should be in a different dress from the student participants so that they could be easily identified.

❖ Event organizers will provide microphones, mic stands and a sound tech. only

❖ Bands  will  be  responsible  for  providing  their  own  instruments,  amps,  and  other equipment necessary for performance.

❖ Band members are responsible for the security of their equipment.

 

Solo Dance

Registration fee:  Rs 100/- per participant

❖ The time limit for the performance is 3-4 min.

❖ There will be negative points for exceeding the time limit.

❖ Participants are required to submit the dance tracks prior to the event.

❖ Choice of song and dance style should NOT have any slang or derogatory act.

❖ Inflammable objects are strictly prohibited to be used as a prop.

 

Budding Designer

❖ Team can have 6- 12 members.

❖ Time limit for every team would be 7 minutes (Including setup and the Performance both).

❖ All  costumes  are  permitted,  which  maintain  decency  including  original  costumes & fashion designs

❖ Models, Makeup and Hair do will not be provided by organizer college.

❖ Organizer college will provide only a stage for ramp & console music set up.

❖ Negative marking if participants exceed the time limit.

❖ Should carry their tracks in pen drive and should be submitted in advance.

❖ Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest.

❖ Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance, attitude and tagline.

❖ Each group should have one tag line representing their group and the theme.

Ramp Show

Registration fee:  Rs 500/-per team.

❖ 8-14 members can participate per team.

❖ The time limit is maximum 8-10 minutes.

❖ Three teams per college are allowed.

❖ Participants will walk the ramp representing a theme, followed by a question-answer round.

❖ Required music tracks shall be arranged by the team itself.

 

Group Dance

Registration fee:  Rs 500/- per team

❖ The time limit for the performance is 5-7 minutes.

❖ Three teams per college are allowed.

❖ 8-18 Members per team are allowed

❖ There will be Negative points for exceeding the time limit.

❖ Participants are required to submit their tracks before the event.

❖ Choice of song and dance style should NOT have any slang or derogatory act.

❖ LED and Presentations can be used for the background screen.

 

Note : Outstationed participants are required to make their own arrangements, though they can contact us for assistance if needed.
