The Commerce and Management Department successfully organised the Departmental Orientation Programme on 24/07/2026 for the newly admitted BBA/B.Com Sem 1st students.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Anuradha, who shared essential guidelines on etiquette and professional conduct, encouraging students to maintain discipline and decorum throughout their academic journey.
This was followed by an insightful session by Prof. Sunil Kakkar, who emphasised the importance of consistency and discipline in a student's life as the foundation for academic and personal success.
Dr. Shiva Sharma then delivered a comprehensive departmental presentation, highlighting the academic structure, Semester I subjects, various student clubs and activities, and introduced the faculty members to the newly admitted students.
Adding an industry perspective to the programme, Ms. Charushi Jain conducted an engaging Virtual Industry Visit of Coca-Cola, providing students with valuable insights into the company's operations and concluding the session with an interactive evaluation.
The programme concluded with inspiring storytelling sessions by Dr. Reena and Dr. Arti, whose motivational stories encouraged students to embrace challenges, stay positive, and make the most of their college journey.
The orientation successfully provided students with academic guidance, industry exposure, and motivation, creating a strong foundation for the beginning of their BBA journey.
