As Poddar International College celebrates 28 years of excellence, this event reaffirmed our commitment to empowering artisans and fostering industry–academia collaboration. BBA students from the Department of Commerce and Management, along with faculty member Dr. Yog Rathore, participated in an event organized by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) today.
Dr. Rathore delivered an insightful speech on Local to Global: Branding and Packaging Strategies to Market Artisan Products, highlighting the importance of branding for local artisans and small creators. She also showcased Poddar International College’s Incubation Centre, registered with MSME, which provides training, guidance, and mentorship in branding, packaging, and market access.
BBA students presented a powerful skit, Ek Naam, Ek Pehchaan, portraying artisans’ journey from struggle to recognition. The performance was widely appreciated for its creativity and impact. Students from the Design Department also attended the event.
The program blended learning, social responsibility, and student talent, showcasing academia’s real-world impact.
