On 18th Sept 2023 Design Department of PGI organised an industrial visit to Premier Plylam Marketing Company - PRIMARK, for 1st & 2nd year students of interior design. Ar. Neha Khunteta Design Department of Poddar Group of Institutions, accompanied the students of design department.
PRIMARK is one of the leading distributors in India for many Brands of Plywood, Laminates, Veneers, Wood Floorings, and other Interior and Exterior Decorative products. Mr. Pankaj Somani was the representative of the company and gave brief information about products, patterns, styles, and quality.
Students learned about market forms of Timber Backlit Panels, Decorative Veneers, Charcoal Sheets, Laminates and door Skins, PVC and Acrylic Laminates, Wooden and Deck Flooring, MDF - Plain and pre-laminated, Particle Boards - Plain and pre-laminated, Cement Boards and cement Planks, Acrylic Solid Surface Sheets, Block boards, plywood, and various surface finishes with their applications. Students interacted with several employees and asked various questions to gain knowledge of the corporate sector.
