The NSS Club of Poddar International College is pleased to share the successful completion of the Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) under The Ministry of Culture Government of India campaign held on 13th August 2025 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
As part of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign , the NSS Club organised a vibrant Tiranga Rally with the motive of spreading awareness about the significance of the national flag, inspiring citizens to respect and protect its honour, and encouraging every household, institution, and public space to hoist it with pride. The rally also aimed to strengthen the sense of unity, brotherhood, and commitment towards the nation among participants and the wider community.
The rally was graced by Chief Guest, Councillor Advocate Shakti Prakash Yadav Ji. Participants, dressed in white kurtas/suits with scarves or chunni in saffron, white, or green, marched in unison carrying the Indian flag and chanting patriotic slogans. NSS volunteers also prepared patriotic slogan boards (placards) to carry during the rally, adding visual impact and further inspiring onlookers. The rally began from the college premises, covering the surrounding area and attracting the attention and appreciation of local residents.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, creating a spirited atmosphere of national pride. The programme was coordinated under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Shilpika Tewari , whose leadership ensured smooth organisation and active involvement from all. After the event, students took a Selfie with Tiranga and uploaded it on the website www.harghartiranga.com
and students got certificates of participation in Har ghar Tiranga campaign.
Through this initiative, The NSS Club reaffirmed its commitment to promoting national pride, civic responsibility, and active citizenship.
