Goal Setting and Growth Mindset Session for MBA students of Poddar Management and Technical Campus, designed specifically to enhance their placement preparation and career readiness.
The primary objective was to help students shift from placement anxiety to placement ownership—empowering them to take responsibility for their preparation and approach opportunities with clarity, resilience, and confidence.
During the session, students explored how clear career goals, structured action plans, and the right mindset directly influence placement outcomes. We discussed practical strategies for setting placement-focused goals, identifying skill gaps, maintaining consistency, and staying motivated throughout the preparation journey.
A strong emphasis was placed on developing a growth mindset—embracing challenges, learning from rejections, adapting to feedback, and continuously improving interview performance. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students reflected on their belief systems, confidence levels, and responses to setbacks, preparing them to approach placements with ownership and focus.
