As part of the Global Immersion Programme, students of Poddar Business School visited the State Bank of India (SBI), Dubai Branch, gaining valuable insights into the operations of one of the world’s leading financial institutions.
The visit highlighted SBI’s remarkable journey as the 4th largest bank globally, showcasing its wide range of banking and financial services for NRI clients. Students were impressed by the bank’s unique office spaces themed around India’s sacred rivers—Ganga, Yamuna, and others, symbolizing its deep cultural roots and global presence.
The team also elaborated on essential aspects of banking compliance, international regulations, and pre-business protocols, offering students a practical understanding of how global banking functions with integrity and precision.
This visit enriched the participants’ global business perspective and deepened their understanding of international finance and regulatory frameworks.
