The workshop was conducted to apprise students of BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA and BCA programmes about the key academic and examination-related provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The session offered clear insights into the examination pattern, marking scheme, weightage of mid-term examinations, minimum credit requirements, and the implications of non-fulfilment of credits, including Not Promoted and Back Promoted result statuses. Special emphasis was laid on the art of effective answer writing, the credit-based system, and the overall assessment structure, enabling students to approach examinations with greater clarity and confidence.
The session was expertly led by the Resource Person, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Meenu Mangal, whose lucid explanations and practical illustrations made the complex framework of NEP 2020 both accessible and student-friendly. Her guidance helped demystify the policy’s academic structure while aligning students with its outcome-oriented approach.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and was attended by faculties from the Department of Commerce and Management, Science Department, Arts Department, & IT Department. The event proved to be a valuable academic initiative, fostering awareness, preparedness, and informed academic planning among students in line with NEP 2020.
