The Department of Arts at Poddar International College successfully conducted the first day of its Orientation Programme on 24th July 2026 to warmly welcome the new students and introduce them to the academic environment, institutional values, and opportunities available during their college journey.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Prof. Praveen Goswami, who greeted the students and acquainted the students with the rules and regulations of the college.
The session on the examination pattern was conducted by Vice Principal Prof. Meenu Mangal, who explained the examination system, internal assessments, attendance requirements, and evaluation process.
The programme followed with a presentation by Dr. Shilpika Tiwari, who familiarized the students with the Department of Arts and faculty members, learning opportunities, and future career prospects. Additionally, Dr. Vinod Kumar Jain facilitated the registration of students on the My Bharat Portal, and Dr. Utkarsh introduced them to the college’s research cells.
The programme concluded with an interactive session in which the new students introduced themselves and interacted with the faculty members. During the session, Dr. Kavita Jain and Mr. Naman Gautam motivated the students to freely express their hobbies, interests, talents, and aspirations. This interaction helped the department understand the students’ strengths and preferences that encourage their overall growth and active participation.
The first day of the Orientation Programme was informative and inspiring, helping students gain confidence and a better understanding of the academic environment at the college.
