Poddar International College celebration of 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Independence day celebration aimed to honour the spirit of freedom, patriotism, and national responsibility.
The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony by Ms.Roopal Poddar,Vice Chairperson of Poddar Group of Institutes . The national anthem was sung in unison, filling the atmosphere with pride and reverence for the tricolour.
Following this, Principal Dr. Praveen Goswami delivered an inspiring speech on environmental degradation and sustainability, highlighting the role of citizens in safeguarding both the nation’s freedom and its natural resources. He also rendered a heartfelt patriotic song, stirring deep emotion among the audience.
The programme continued with patriotic speeches, melodious patriotic songs, and vibrant dance performances by students, each showcasing love and respect for the motherland. Slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram" echoed through the premises, adding to the patriotic fervour.
In a special address, Vice Principal Dr. Meenu Mangal inspired the youth to take active steps towards entrepreneurship and start-ups, connecting the spirit of freedom with self-reliance and innovation.
Towards the conclusion, faculty members and students united, holding the Tiranga high and raising enthusiastic slogans, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity and national pride.
Through this celebration, The NSS Club of Poddar International College reaffirmed its commitment to fostering patriotism, social responsibility, and active participation in nation-building among students and the community.
