AICTE–ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) Day 3

 the AICTE–ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Embracing the Green Economy: Exploring Green Technology for a Sustainable Future” was conducted with great enthusiasm and academic rigor at Poddar International College. The day witnessed insightful sessions by two eminent experts, enriching participants with interdisciplinary perspectives on sustainability, innovation, and green practices.
The first session was delivered by Professor Neelima Gupta, Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Rajasthan, and Director, Centre for Converging Technologies. She is also the Coordinator of the Design Innovation Centre, University of Rajasthan, and Nodal Officer of the Anandam Programme. Prof. Gupta elaborated on the role of converging technologies, innovation, and community-oriented initiatives in strengthening the green economy. Her session emphasized the integration of scientific research, design thinking, and social responsibility to achieve sustainable development goals.
Following the first session, an article discussion session was conducted by Dr. Utkarsh, which provided an interactive platform for participants to critically analyze contemporary research articles related to green technology and sustainability. The discussion encouraged reflective thinking and collaborative learning among faculty members.
The second session of the day was delivered by Dr. Shuchi Mathur, Assistant Director, Centre for Design and Management of Agricultural Markets, CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM). Dr. Mathur highlighted sustainable agricultural markets, green supply chains, and policy-driven innovations for strengthening the agricultural economy while ensuring environmental sustainability. Her session offered practical insights into the linkage between green technology and agri-market reforms.
Both the distinguished speakers were formally welcomed by the Principal Prof. Praveen Goswami and Vice Principal, Dr. Meenu Mangal of Poddar International College, who expressed gratitude for their valuable presence and knowledge-sharing. 
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meenu Mangal, (Vice Principal, PIC) and Dr. Reema Singh, (Coordinator of the FDP), who acknowledged the speakers, participants, organizing team, and all contributors for making the third day a success. They also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the constant encouragement and visionary support of the Honourable Chairman of Poddar Group of Institutions, Dr. Anand Poddar, and the Honourable Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Roopal Poddar, whose continuous guidance and support have been instrumental in the successful organization of the FDP.
The smooth conduct of the programme was ensured by Dr. Arti Sharma, who efficiently anchored the sessions.

The third day of the FDP reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to promoting green education, innovation, and sustainable practices among educators and researchers.
