The first day of the Student Orientation Programme “Aarambh – 2025” at Poddar International College was filled with enthusiasm, warmth, and inspiration. The event began with the traditional Tilak ceremony, followed by registration and a warm welcome of the new students. Hosts Dr. Shiva Sharma and Ms. Monika Pareek led the program with grace and energy.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Capt. Shashi Kiran, IRSME, Chief PRO, Railway HQ, Jaipur, who encouraged students to focus on self-growth, discipline, and setting clear goals. He motivated them to stay positive, work hard, and embrace every opportunity for personal development.
Dr. Anand Poddar, Chairman of Poddar Group of Institutions, gave an insightful address, urging students to think like entrepreneurs. He spoke about the importance of innovation, critical thinking, and communication skills in today’s world. His message inspired the students to dream big and take initiative through start-up ideas and leadership activities.
The presence of Mr. P.C. Gupta, Patron, added immense value to the occasion.
Other highlights included a formal lamp-lighting ceremony, Ganesh Vandana, college presentation by Dr. Sunil Kakkar, and an informative session on college rules by Dr. Meenu Mangal.
A lively and interactive activity session by the Box FM RJ team brought fun and energy to the gathering.
The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Prof. Praveen Goswami, Principal, setting the tone for a purposeful academic year ahead.
