The Training and Placement Cell of Poddar International College organized "The Discussion Desk," a group discussion, for 1st Year BCA students. The session, coordinated by Ms. Anuradha Banerjee Ghosh, Head of Training, focused on two thought-provoking topics: "Success Begins in Our Mind" and "Social Media Makes Us More Connected and Isolated."
Using the PEEL strategy—Point, Evidence, Example, Link—students explored these ideas in depth, developing their critical thinking and communication skills. Seniors actively took part in the discussions, providing juniors with a valuable opportunity to observe, learn, and gain confidence through peer learning. It was a meaningful session filled with insights, reflection, and growth.
