The “3-Minute JAM” (Just A Minute) activity, conducted by Dr. Vaishali Gupta for MBA First-Year students, aimed to build spontaneous speaking, confidence, and clarity of thought among participants. Students were divided into groups of three, and each member was given a topic along with one minute to prepare before speaking confidently for three minutes without hesitation or deviation.
The session created a supportive and engaging environment, motivating students to think on their feet, organize their ideas, and communicate effectively. Through this activity, participants enhanced their public speaking, time management, and critical thinking skills while also overcoming stage fear and improving fluency and articulation.
Students took part with great enthusiasm, valuing the opportunity for self-expression and experiential learning. Overall, the activity successfully achieved its goal of strengthening communication excellence, confidence, and professional readiness, seamlessly blending fun with learning as part of their ongoing soft skills development journey.
