The sixth day of the AICTE Atal Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Embracing the Green Economy: Exploring Green Technology for a Sustainable Future" was a remarkable and insightful event. The program was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and experts who provided valuable knowledge on the critical aspects of green technologies and their role in ensuring a sustainable future.
The success of the AICTE Atal-FDP could not have been achieved without the constant support and guidance of the Chairman, Dr. Anand Poddar, and the Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Roopal Poddar. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in shaping this initiative, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
The first session of the day was led by Dr. Pramod Kamble, the Head of the Department of Environmental Science at the Central University of Rajasthan. Dr. Kamble is a renowned expert in environmental studies, and his session focused on the pivotal role of environmental science in the transition to a green economy. The session emphasized the importance of adopting sustainable practices and leveraging green technologies for environmental conservation.
Prof. Praveen Goswami, the Principal, and Dr. Meenu Mangal, the Vice Principal, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Kamble, thanking him for his valuable contribution to the program. His insightful presentation resonated with the participants, highlighting the crucial intersection of science, technology, and sustainability in shaping the future of green economies.
The second session of the day was conducted by Speaker Dr. Meenu Mangal, Vice Principal, who delved into the economic impact of green fuels and biomass. Dr. Mangal discussed the potential of green fuels as sustainable alternatives to conventional energy sources and their significant role in reducing the carbon footprint. She also emphasized how biomass technologies are contributing to the creation of a more sustainable energy landscape.
Dr. Reema Singh, FDP Coordinator, welcomed Dr. Mangal to the session, expressing gratitude for her expertise and perspective on such an important topic.
Following the insightful sessions, the program moved into an interactive Assignment Session. This session was designed to reinforce the learning outcomes by providing the participants with opportunities to apply the knowledge gained from the sessions. By working on assignments, the participants were able to better understand the real-world applicability of green technologies, ensuring that the learning experience became more meaningful and practical.
