Poddar Management and Technical Campus successfully concluded a six-day ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Advancing Knowledge and Applications in Artificial Intelligence” under the aegis of Poddar Group of Institutions and ATAL Academy, AICTE. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and researchers across Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Punjab, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and many more.
The FDP offered an in-depth exposure to Artificial Intelligence, spanning foundational concepts to advanced and emerging applications. Major focus areas included Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Neural Network architectures, AI-driven research and collaboration, ethical and responsible AI, smart cities and urban management, healthcare applications of AI, data security, generative AI, and changing trends in education.
The sessions were delivered by distinguished resource persons from both national and international institutions, including senior academicians holding doctoral qualifications from reputed universities in India and abroad, as well as industry leaders with advanced certifications and extensive professional experience. The experts represented institutions and organizations based in Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, and international locations such as Nigeria, bringing global academic perspectives and strong industry exposure to the programme.
With expertise spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cloud and Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, and Applied Research, the resource persons effectively bridged theory with real-world practice. Their sessions emphasized ethical AI adoption, interdisciplinary research, innovation, and societal impact, enabling participants to gain a holistic understanding of contemporary AI developments.
