An orientation session was conducted for the students of BBA, B. Com Semester-II & IV to provide insights into the upcoming academic semester, events, and celebrations. The session aimed to familiarize students with various academic and co-curricular activities planned for the term.
Ms. Charushi Jain (Class Coordinator, BBA), Adv Khushbu Goyal, Dr. Yog Kanwar provided students with a detailed briefing on the subjects they would be studying in Semester-II & IV, helping them understand the academic structure and learning objectives for the new term.
Dr. Shiva Sharma (Assistant Professor, Poddar Business School) led the session by engaging students in a discussion about their past learnings and experiences from the first semester. He emphasized the importance of regular attendance in classes and encouraged students to actively participate in their academic journey. He also interacted with students regarding their future academic and skill development plans, along with their expectations from the upcoming semester.
Additionally, Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh (Training & Placement Officer) highlighted the significance of the upcoming HR Conclave and guided students on the registration process. He, along with Ms. Anuradha Ghosh (Soft Skills Trainer), provided valuable insights into future training and placement sessions, including mock group discussions (GD), personal interviews (PI), and soft skills development programs.
Furthermore, students were introduced to the "RajCop Citizen" Mobile App, an initiative that enables individuals to seek immediate assistance from the police in case of any untoward incident or if they feel unsafe in Jaipur. This awareness session aimed to ensure students' safety and well-being in the city.
The session proved to be an informative and interactive platform for students, helping them align their academic goals with industry expectations while ensuring a well-rounded learning experience in the new semester.
