On 26 September 2023, the Design department organized an activity named No Bag Day for students under the creative club, It was an Innovative Day for Interior Design and Fashion Design students where they were restricted to bringing their regular college bags. They have to use products available in their dwellings and create functional storage in place of their regular college bag. This activity has enhanced their thinking ability, functional know-how of products and innovative mindset. Students used products like Bucket, sittings, leather belts, Sewing machine covers, etc to create a bag. It was full of fun, laughter and experiments.
The event was coordinated by Purnima Vyas, faculty of the Design department, and was judged by Roopal Poddar, Vice Chairperson of Poddar Group of Institutions. Students showcased their creativity and gave brief descriptions of their ideas & products. The efforts of Students and faculties were appreciated by the Vice-Chairperson of the Poddar Group of Institutions after having one-to-one conversations with the students. At the end of the event, the vice-chairperson congratulated participants & co-ordinators for such a wonderful event.
